Board of Directors – Brad Yanover

Bradley Yonover, an entrepreneur and attorney, has founded numerous companies in a variety of industries over the past 25 years. Within those companies, he has served as a Board Member, CEO, COO, General Counsel and film/television producer. These companies have encompassed industries such as media & entertainment, real estate & hospitality development, renewable energy, professional sports, and protective apparel manufacturing.

Yonover is well known for his unique approach to business and brand creation and his utilization of non-traditional marketing models to build those brands. This approach has grabbed the attention of numerous multibillion-dollar brands and entertainment companies that have retained Yonover as a marketing and brand expert.

From 2016 to 2018, Yonover served as co-manager of Kurt Vonnegut LLC, which controls all of the IP assets of the late author. During his tenure, Yonover and his co-manager increased the year-over-year profitability of the company from 2017 to 2018 60.3% and over 300% during 2018. He also set-up and developed Vonnegut’s CAT’S CRADLE as a limited television series at F/X Network with Noah Hawley (FARGO, LEGION), SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE as a television series with Universal Cable Productions/NBCUniversal with Gale Anne Hurd (THE WALKING DEAD, THE TERMINATOR franchise), THE SIRENS OF TITAN as a television series at Universal Cable Productions with Dan Harmon (COMMUNITY, RICK & MORTY), PLAYER PIANO as a series with Global Road/Gaumont and HARRISON BERGERON at Bold Films with Mark Forster (WORLD WAR Z, MONSTER’S BALL).

Under his own banner, Iridium One, Yonover acquired the entire IP library of one of the world’s bestselling authors of all time, Harold Robbins. This library serves as the cornerstone of a larger IP roll up, with a marketing/sales/distribution platform as the base. Additional high-profile IP libraries and numerous TV and film projects based on this IP are currently in development, including a series based on BLOOD ROYAL recently sold to CBS/Paramount that he is Executive Producing with Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, TOP GUN and PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN franchises).

Prior to Iridium, Yonover was a principal of a privately held venture and real estate development group, DDB Ventures, LLC, with fellow sports and entertainment entrepreneur, the late Dale Jensen. DDB Ventures’ portfolio included holdings in lifestyle real estate development, grand prix auto racing and entertainment (including the acquisition, development and marketing/branding of content libraries, as well as the production and financing of feature films, television programs and musical artists).

Before DDB Ventures, Yonover developed the strategic feature film production and development plan for media luminary, Chris Blackwell, and Gateway Computers founder, Ted Waite, for their venture, Palm Pictures.

Previous to Palm Pictures, Yonover was a Partner and CFO-COO at GreeneStreet Films, a New York-based film and television production and finance company which produced such noteworthy recent titles as five-time Academy Award® nominee IN THE BEDROOM starring Sissy Spacek and Marisa Tomei (won 2 Golden Globes and Sundance Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize; released by Miramax), A PRICE ABOVE RUBIES (starring Renee Zellweger; released by Miramax), UPTOWN GIRLS (starring Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning; released by MGM), I’M NOT RAPPAPORT (starring Walter Matthau and Ossie Davis; released by Universal), COMPANY MAN (starring Sigourney Weaver, John Turturro and Woody Allen; released by Paramount Classics), ILLUMINATA (starring Susan Sarandon, Christopher Walken and John Turturro, nominated for the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival; released by Artisan) and numerous others. While operating GreeneStreet, Yonover shaped the company’s business and creative strategies, securing numerous film distribution contacts and developing talent relationships that helped position GreeneStreet as a major force within the independent film community that was founded on a philosophy valuing provocative storytelling and heartfelt expression.

In addition to overseeing the operation and direction of the company, Yonover raised and managed GreeneStreet’s significant production fund, greenlighting all of the company’s productions and building a valuable film library. During his tenure, Yonover himself executive produced the films PINERO (starring Benjamin Bratt and Talisa Soto; released by Miramax), JUST A KISS (starring Kyra Sedgwick, Marisa Tomei and Taye Diggs; a Paramount Classics’ release), LISA PICARD IS FAMOUS (starring Mira Sorvino, Sandra Bullock and Charlie Sheen, Official Selection of Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival; released by First Look) and THE CHATEAU (starring Paul Rudd; an IFC Films release), and co-produced SWIMFAN (starring Erica Christensen, Jesse Bradford and Shiri Appleby; a 20th Century Fox release). Yonover also developed the GreeneStreet Film Center, a 35,000-square-foot facility and creative enclave dedicated to film, music and TV production that includes Track 9 Studios, a state-of-the-art digital recording studio equipped for final film mix, ADR, Foley and master-level music recording, which Yonover founded.

Before GreeneStreet Films, Yonover served as General Counsel and Head of Transactions at Goldman Properties, a national boutique real estate development and hospitality company credited with spearheading the initial development of New York City’s SoHo district and Miami’s South Beach. Among his accomplishments with Goldman were the drafting and execution of a redevelopment plan for Wall Street, which included his successful acquisition of over a dozen buildings and yielded several restaurants and residential properties (resulting in a 100% increase of company holding equaling over $100 million in his first 12 months of employment). While there, he managed and negotiated leases for over 40 retail and commercial properties and over 30 residential properties. He also helped oversee the construction of numerous high-profile flagship properties in New York and Miami, including a TV studio, several restaurants and nightclubs, a parking garage (with a boutique retail wrap) and the development of a South Beach hotel with celebrated fashion designer Todd Oldham. In addition, Yonover engaged in consulting services to devise redevelopment plans for the cities of Newark, Miami, the Wall Street District of NYC, Philadelphia and several major airports to revitalize “redline” districts, successfully rebranding each of those districts.

Prior to joining Goldman, Yonover was an attorney at the national law firm of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, where he specialized in real estate, corporate and entertainment law. He earned both his JD and his undergraduate degrees in Biology and History from Indiana University in Bloomington. He is a Member of the Bar in New York, Kentucky and Washington, DC and has been a frequent lecturer on feature film production at Columbia University, New York University, Fordham University’s MBA Program, Arizona State University and the EU’s International Media Business School in Spain.

Yonover has served on the board of directors or advisory boards of a number of companies, including National Geographic’s All Roads Film Festival, National Lampoon, Track 9 Studios, EarthShift Energy, Dragontech International, Youth League Tennis and the Nashville Independent Film Festival. In addition, Yonover was one of four Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grantees of development funds to produce feature films and television.
