The Illinois Association for Global Trade (IAGT) and Hub71 Abu Dhabi convened an exclusive Illinois–Abu Dhabi panel focused on strengthening collaboration in innovation, investment, technology, and business development.
Held in a hybrid format connecting Chicago and Abu Dhabi, the event brought together approximately 50 invited leaders and stakeholders. Discussions highlighted Illinois’ growing startup and smart-city ecosystem, Abu Dhabi’s expanding innovation and investment landscape, and opportunities to build stronger connections between the two regions.
The event also coincided with the UAE Embassy’s first official visit to Illinois, marking an important milestone in the relationship between Illinois and the UAE.
